Her comedy performance was brilliance. It was a great part of what was otherwise a lousy film. She had me double over with laughter when she'd pull a really good line.

And who didn't love her whole rant- I was happy in Shanghai. I had a little house and a garden. Went to parties and premieres all the time. I HATE being outside!! I'm a singer! I can use my voice!
And the whole screaming/playing cards scene is gold.

Yeah, it's kind of embarrassing saying you like16d0 her but firstly, the opening number with her is good and, as others have said, she is great comic relief in a dark movie.

I did! I wish it would have been her and Shortround to come back instead of Marion! Heck, she could have had his kid too! Indy 4 should end with Willie showing up with her kid! I am just a biased Willie (and Shortround) fan!

I love when she comes close to the camera under the "anything goes" musical segment.
Love her eyes and outfit in that scene.
Kate is gorgeous.

Willie Scott remains my favourite Indy girl, and Temple of Doom ny favourite Indy flick. She was my childhood fantasy - forget Princess Leia! The screaming never annoyed me, I thought she was funny, and a nice contrast to Indiana's adventurer. Would have much preferred to see her return in the new film rather than Marion, but then I wasn't impressed with the new film, so maybe it's a blessing she wasn't in it.

When I was a kid I HATED Willie. She bothered me and I just thought she was annoying. Now that I'm older I can appreciate the comedy she brought to the role. She's pretty hilarious, actually.

I just watched the film again yesterday in case I was wrong about her, but nope - she's terrible!
Her and Short round are two major reasons why this film was so bad.

Short Round was great!!!
He showed the bad parenting skills of Indiana (Gambling, cheating, taking him on near death adventures etc) but he also showed Indy had a heart, he adopted him practically.

I'm actually a big fan of her. The role was basically Fay Ray/Mae West. Kc did a great job bringing her to life, and without her the film would've been much less

i did. she was really funny and cute when she's not screaming. hehe.. i love the part where she asks for soup and when the soup comes steaming hot in a silver bowl she smells the aroma ans starts digging in only to find eyeballs in it. god.. her expressions in that scene were frigging hilarious! i also felt she had great chemistry with harrison. i love their bickering scenes.
Currently going crazy over downey jr and ms mcadams.
Iron Man was awesome!

I did. Willie is one of the best things about Temple of Doom - I wish she had been in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull!
