O my God! They couldnt have cast a more unsuitable actor to portray George Reeves!! Ben Affleck ?? Are you kidding me ? Ben Affleck looks nothing like George Reeves, not even physically even if they try to make him appear like Reeves in the make-up and "magic" department of hollywood today. Reeves was a little more "stout" and meatier than the "cut" Ben Affleck. Plus, Affleck probably chose to do the role so he can appear in a movie that may get Oscar attention so that he can himself get an Oscar because his movie have usually been awful and his acting has never been serious.

Wait, what? What Affleck movies have you seen?? He has pulled off a number of serious roles:
-Chasing Amy, as Holden
-Jersey Girl, as Ollie
-Good Will Hunting, as Chuckie
-Daredevil, Title role (I consider that a serious role)
-Phantoms, as Sheriff Hammond
And that is only naming a few (i.e. my favorites). Affleck is an incredible actor with bad script choice. He was wonderful in this role. Check it out before you make the call. -

I know Ben wasn't nominated himself, but I think Hollywoodland was up for some Oscars. Was it up for Best Picture? I think so, but I'm not sure.
So I'll shut up!
