dont get me wrong, I like some of his films but a lot are terrible though. And he's not that great of a stylist that people make him out of the to be.

I honestly think that if he didn't make El Mariachi for $7,000, no one would be calling him a great director. He just got lucky with that one film. Since then, he's proven himself to be a terrible storyteller and an egotistical moron, constantly bragging about how he knows how to save money on productions over being able to tell a good story or get a good performance out of an actor.

I personally enjoy all creative minds who contribute to da' dreams of da' masses can't wait until he gets into santaria's cult and is inspired to reveal to them da' governing forces of our unconsciousness as perceived by one whom adheres to da' 4 agreements: 1. Be impeccable with yo' word. 2. Don't take it personal. 3. Do not make assumptions. 4. Do da' best you can.

I almost think he is a bit underrated because most say he made bad movies and is a jerk.
The Mariachi Trilogy and Sin City is great, Grindhouse - Planet Terror too and I love Machete and From Dusk Till Dawn.
Machete Kills and Sin City 2 - A Dame To Kill For are not as good as the first ones but still awesome. -

Of Rodriguez's filmography, although I'm not a big fan of these movies, I think 'Desperado', 'From Dusk Til Dawn', and 'Sin City' are quite memorable and strong, but that's it IMO. I'm a big fan of 'Fire and Ice' so I'm looking forward to the live action remake and think Rodriguez might be able to do it justice.
