I just checked and it does look, as you say, "CGI central." The head is oddly photoshopped on the body. I just hope all who view it come to the same conclusion that it is a fake.
    Shameful 😞
    I can't keep calm, I'm a Gemini!!!

It needs to be pulled quickly! I hope the seller has no plans of reselling the item time after time.

If recalled correctly, there was some 'outfit' a while back that 'created' a bunch of these 'nudie pics' of a lot of different 'Golden Age' actresses obviously fake, as, although she had a few 'cheesecake' moments in the early pre-code films, nothing overtly 'nude'. Ginger would most likely hang a 'cease and desist' on this character, if not worse, but in today's landscape, who knows how well that would work
BTW, Rafter Romance is being aired on TCM on May 25 - check out Ginger's Films upcoming on TCM, as well as a few other channels, over on my blog, Gingerology - http://jwhueyblog.blogspot.com/ quite a few coming up!

I agree with everyone else's assessment that this postcard is a photoshopped creation - and a mediocre one at that.
Also, based on Ginger's autobiography and other documentation of the period, it seems extremely unlikely that she ever would have posed for a fully nude picture, even during the pre-code era. Just because more risque images were allowed prior to 1934 does not mean that Ginger would have participated.1354 In addition to the overall quality of this image indicating that it was photoshopped, the image of Ginger's face looks like it's taken from an image a bit later on in the 1930s. So if she wouldn't have posed for a nude photo during the pre-code era when it might have been "legal" to do so, she most certainly wouldn't have done so later on.

That's NOT Ginger in that ridiculous photo. It's obviously been (badly) photo shopped.
Stuff on eBay has to be taken with a grain of salt or two. There are MANY loathsome, unscrupulous sellers out there who will try to pass anything off to make a quick buck.
There are many photos on there that are supposed to be of Ginger that don't even slightly resemble her!
This Ebay seller is an idiot.
Ginger would never have done anything like that. Period.

Indeed, Ginger was very much against exposing too much of herself in photos or on screen. In fact, she wrote in her book "Ginger: My Story" (hardbound, p. 291) concerning her film "Dreamboat" (1952), "I was embarrassed at being clothed in such a skimpy harem costume, complete with black wig; I was never at ease wearing too little. The way things are on the screen today (c. 195b490), with nothing left to the imagination, I don't think I'd be making movies." The black underwear cheesecake photo, from a publicity shoot for her 1933 Paramount film, "Sitting Pretty," is as risqu as she ever got, although she certainly had some quite alluring poses and camerawork done in other movies. A couple of years ago, some unmentionable scoundrel tried selling on Ebay this photo, Photoshopped to make Ginger appear topless. If Ginger had seen such a thing, she would have puffed up like a toad, picked up her phone, and called her attorney to start a lawsuit! I protested to Ebay and that offending photo quickly was pulled. Ginger Rogers was one of the few actresses who were able to keep her public image suitable for all ages.

I don't doubt it. She had no morals and would do anything or anyone to get ahead in Hollywood. But who in their right mind would want to see her nakedI'm getting nauseated.

The post card is a fake.
                  She never posed nude.
Miss Ginger Rogers had more morals in one pinkie finger, than you do in your whole body
                  I'm getting nauseated.
And that's how I know what kind of person you are
Your posts are so transparent now, it clear that you are just a hateful
                  FLAMER
                  looking to stir up trouble
Because if she really made you nauseated, you would be somewhere else
So, why don't you just do everyone a favor, and do just that!
                  Have A Magnificent Day!

coreymax23, as Joan Fontaine said in her autobiography "No Bed of Roses", when she arrived at RKO, Ginger was the undisputed queen of the lot. The photoshopped postcard on eBay shows a Ginger face which reflects her look from 1938/1939 ("Carefree", "Vivacious Lady", "The Story of Vernon and Irene Castle", "Bachelor Mother"). Ginger didn't need to get ahead in those daysshe was the queen of the RKO lot.
She woked hard in vaudville as a teenager and became a Broadway star while in her late teens. While on Broadway, she was simultaneously making movies at Paramount's New York studio. When you're looking at the postcard on eBay, you're seeing Ginger's face photoshopped with hair and a body that weren't hers. If you want to get nauseated, just have a look at your own refection in a mirror. Beware of broken glass!
