I am so happy to find he is still with us, I loveeeee his music! I guess because he retired during his prime back in the 80's and I never heard anything from him anymore, it was like he fell off the face of the Earth. I just looked him up tonight because I wanted to know what had killed some of my favorite singers like Gordon :o), Tammy Wynette, Jim Croce etc. Gordon is one of the greatest singers EVER! I guess I have new music I've never heard from him to look up. I'm sooo excited!

That's unfortunatley happened three times.
One today >

Then it happened over 5 years ago. > Feb 18, 2010 - Canadian folk music icon Gordon Lightfoot Quote : It seems like a bit of a hoax or something," the 71-year-old singer said
Also in Sept. of 2002 when he collapsed and was rushed
to the hospital. He ended up in a Coma for nealy 6 weeks, waking up in late October.
I remember Entertainment Tonight with the breaking story
but I also recall they said NOTHING, when he was okay later and released.
2002 :
GORDON LIGHTFOOT CONCERT POSTPONED DUE TO ILLNESS
Gordon Lightfoot - September 9, 2002 - 8pm @ Stratford Festival Theatre
Due to illness, the Gordon Lightfoot concert in Stratford on Monday, September 9th has been postponed. At this time, we have no further details about rescheduling of the concert but will post this information as soon as possible.
Our prayers are with Mr. Lightfoot and his
family at this time and we wish him a quick recovery.
I wish these internet idiots (trolls)
would just leave him and other elderly celebs alone.
Go for it or just be a gopher!
