Let me see how far this will go, it's too hilarious. I love coming home from school and work and seeing how stupid IMDB users can be. Your "sources", which are none but your own opinion. You GUESS she is mestizo or white. Who is this "majority" (show me the Harvard and Yale supported stats, LOL) that "thinks" Eva is mestiza or white? Your pathetic grasping at your straws.
Keep it going! The fansites that do state her race: MULATTA. Google it. Further yet, LEARN the history of indigenous people of Cuba. Most were extinguished waaaay before Eva. Have you SEEN Eva's nose before her nose job? Ummmm, it's very, very obvious she's had a nosejob. How is that racist? It's even been a topic on here. And DUH, are you blind? She straightens and colors her hair. Anyway you already know she's mulatta, you're just embarrassed of being wrong. I've seen it many, many, many years on here. I can see that responding to you is about as absurd as talking to a brick wall. You know how I can tell that you're an idiot? Calling Eva Mendes "mulata" is like calling Keanu Reeves "asian" because his father has, among many other things, chinese roots.
It doesn't make any sense.
Nobody here is saying Eva Mendes is 100% white (she obviously is not) or that it is impossible she has any black ancestor (she probably has).
But, for the last time, that doesn't make her a mulatta.
She looks mestiza, mostly white, with some native american blood in her, and probably a little bit of black.
But that is not mulata.
Halle Berry, Alicia Keys and Cristina Milian are mulattas, which means, biracial black and white.
If you think that Eva Mendes look like these women you definitely need glasses. -

Eva is, for all intents and purposes, a mulatta. Cuba's present-day population is a mixture of the descendants of African slaves and those of the Spanish Conquistadors. The Taino Natives were killed off prior to the mass shipments of slaves from Africa. This increases the odds of Eva having Black parentage exponentially.
