Yeahhh I'm suspecting that. I figured it would hurt a lot more to do it (it didn't hurt at all in the moment but that finger hurts now and my palm hurts when I stretch my fingers out)

Take some ibuprofen and see if that helps. Maybe something inside is still healing and it's causing swelling. Sounds like you maybe cut out a chunk of fatty tissue or maybe hit near a bone

Not always ,it could still be localized. Is there any redness in the area of your finger or palm?
