I wonder if it's similar to a "mole sauce" in Mexican cuisine.
I haven't tried it yet, but I admit, I'm a bit curious. I saw that your name on it, and I thought….it's calling to you!

Yes! (And I kept the ice packs, too!) I like the dark chocolate. Like you pointed out, it's not as sweet and it seems much more balanced. These bars came differently, and instead of being in eighths it was in quarters, and the bar was a little thicker with more filling.

Btw I tried the choc with chili… the chili taste is very very very subtle, barely perceptible. But it gave a nice kick after each bite. Reminds me of Mexican candy.

You might like it in beverage form too… There's a drink called
Xocolatl
which, I believe, is of Aztec origin. It is essentially a thick hot chocolate with ground red peppers and a little vanilla. You can make your own from scratch, or purchase some commercially available ones with the pre-mixed powder. Just add boiling water.
BTW, this was referenced in the 2000 film
