Would you do it, knowing how critical he'd be of everything?.

Yes, arrogant bastard. That has nothing to do with his passion for for cooking. However valid some of his points may be - and I recognize that he DOES make some spot-on observations - that doesn't mean he can couch those observations in such snotty, insulting terms. And where in fecking hull do you get that "people like you" sh*t? Since when does being passionate about anything entitle you to talk to people as though they're garbage?
Sure, I'd cook him a meal - though there might be a hint of bitter almonds, depending on how he behaved -

I think your own comments makes you actually worse than him. He's arrogant but about food. You're arrogant about your ego that you'd even joke about poisoning someone in a bit of self-righteousness.
I think yours is worse. -

You reply as if he'd never taken a bite of someone's cooking and said, "This tastes (insert compliment)."
If all you see is negative, that's what you'd expect. I think you only see the negative in others. -

He came to my village and my mother and chef met him, they told him we ran a hotel and restaurant but my chef said he was incredible nervous incase he wanted to try the food. My chef is good and has won aa rossettes and stuff but would never cook for Gordon i dont think i would either..

I would kill to cook Gordon a meal. I believe that Gordon has a true appreciation for food that's fresh, wholesome, simple and good. I'm a good honest cook and my food is delicious. I put love in my food and I think he would be able tell that and love it. I'm sure of it.
