Hey man.
I'm sure you're already familiar with The Seeds' two big singles, "Pushin' Too Hard" and "Can't Seem To Make You Mine". They're great singles, of course, but the albums are definitely worth checking out. My favorite 60s garage bands are the Elevators, Seeds and Standells. early Stones, too, if they count as "garage rock". -

Hey Man!
I did not think about that Bobby Darin album although I am fan.
(He is one of those artists I mentally place in the "singles" category - whether fairly or not.)
Will give a listen . . .
Actually, I think Cat's album is '67.
Great list as always. (I was wondering if you were going with Dylan or Beatles for the #1 spot.)

The Beatles - Revolver
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
Cream - Fresh Cream
Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde
Simon & Garfunkel - Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme
I sometimes find music so cathartic that it makes me lethargic -

Hey Muckle
Hmm.
Pet Sounds
This must be whispered: I really don't enjoy that album with the exception of 2-3 great songs.
I read the books. Saw the movie. But still . . .
Revolver
the greatest Beatles? What say ye? -

It's like me thinking Sgt Peppers is the most over rated album of all time. The first two songs are great and then filler. A Day in the Life might also be the most over rated song of all time!
You may be right, I might be crazy, but it just may be a lunatic you are looking for! -
