    Life Of Brian, hands down.
I love how the Roman Praetorian officer corrects Brians' grammar and tell him to write the corrected sentence a 100 times (like a teacher), so he does, paints the entire stronghold red - telling the Romans to piss off - mission accomplished. After he finishes the soldier tells him, "Now, don't do that again".

I love both, but Holy Grail edges out Life of Brian for me.

I enjoyed Holy Grail just a tad bit more than Life of Brian, but both are masterpieces of comedy!!!

Life of Brian, but The Holy Grail is terrific as well.

After all that its tied, I will break the tie by saying Holy Grail is one of my fav movies but it isn't quite as good as Animal House. It is however slightly better than Life Of Brian
No offense, but you're an idiot.

Life of Brian but the margin is wafer-thin.

No contest for me: Holy Grail. I thought that Life of Brian had some die laughing parts and some great satire, but overall I didn't really like it. It didn't have the "intelligence" or wittiness of the Holy Grail that I loved. A lot of the humor was more childish like the Biggus Dickus and that stupid alien scene.

Tie between holy grail and Brian. If I were to choose it would be wrong. Just like when they ask which of your children you like most.
Wrong, and in very bad taste this question

I love both so much that is very hard to pick one. Both have great humour. I would say The Holy Grail.
Some of my favorite parts from both are: The frenchman on the wall, Sir Robin's minstrel, The black Knight, the killer bunny, the african/european swallow, the knights who say ni, the people's front of Judea, Biggus Dickus, the guy with the silence vow, the latin lesson.. I could go on and oneven now I laugh just thinking about them. For me Holy Grail, Life of Brian, Fawlty Towers and Dr. Strangelove are the best comedies ever made. Each one has enormous rewatch value.

Life of Brian, with Holy Grail just out of cow chucking distance.

Life of Brian win by a millimeter. But the best joke belong to the Holy Grail. The whole Swamp Castle scene always had me in stitches.

I would have to say Holy Grail. Life of Brian is very good too, but I always found it to be more clever than funny.

Holy Grail followed by Meaning of Life. I want the killer rabbit slippers so badly and can't get the Meaning of Life songs out of my head after I watch the movie!!

I have to go against the crowd here and say Holy Grail is better, but only slightly so. It's sillier and a bit more focused on comedy and laughs, and has less time devoted to satire - plus is much more quotable. But I love both films.
