Probably but in that scene,just like with Neo,he basically became bullet proof by controlling his own perception of what was real or not.Plus the Doc Holliday gang almost were like the agents in The Matrix.

Everything is a trick. The only way out is to see the trick. The way out is the pleroma (to the God beyond "God"/the demiurge). They don't like to show you that part. Neo never once left the matrix. The real world was a second matrix.
