u my friend are immediately my fav imdb user just for mentioning grave of the fireflies & nobody knows. Almost every other list on any of the imdb posts consists of often seen, well known, often in the top250 films. I am tired of seeing the same names being repeated again and again and again. U my friend r a breath of fresh air. -

- Mysterious Skin (Had heard the title many times, but had no idea what it was about. I love to see good films that I don't know anything about. Just run into it on TV late at night, it was just the beggining. AMazing axperience).
- The Thin Red Line.

And my honorable mention would have to go to The Ring, even though I know I'm going to catch all sorts of hell for it. When I saw it the first time, I couldn't sleep for like a month afterwards, and I think that makes it count for this. -

I watched The Ring a dozen times. It's a very slick and atmospheric film. I'm talking about the remake, which was great. I don't like japanese horror, somehow it's not scary at all.
