You guys know I like my cheesy flicks, but sometimes, I do have to sit back and laugh when, over time, watching them again, I realize how hammy some of it can be!

Looks like two different kinds of cheese are being used.
You know what sounds nice? A cheese and onion toastie, with two different kinds of cheese, thinly sliced onions, and a bowl of creamy tomato soup.

Fun fact: Stephen King was so disturbed by the changed ending of The Mist (the original just had them driving off into the mist in search of help), he forbid anyone from changing it.

Okay, finished my re-watch. It was good. And the scary thing wasn't so much the creepy monsters attacking the people holed up in the supermarket, it was the divisiveness and polarization of the people trapped therein. There were parts that called for a Rodney King "Can't we all just get along?" speech, lol. The ending is still pretty moving.

Have you noticed that in many "horror flicks", the "monsters" are sometimes the least scary things of all? People, when they're in a collective, become a mob. There are people trying to solve problems, and people who just think everything is a joke or want to cause chaos. Heck, we face that in life as well! People gonna peeps!
