I know, he has little time and leisure left for us silly folks on this message board and his presence is extremely missed, but the next time you are doing this poll again, or any poll really, it doesn't matter, you have to include His Saliency Vlad Putin, a brilliant mind, not fat at all, salient wordsmith and emperor. An all around sexy guy. Never forget.

Actually, yes. Putin's prose-style is quite distinctive and memorable. He uses a sort of Joycean stream-of-consciousness technique mixed with the sheer vulgar insanity of a Rabelais. It's just that he hasn't been around as much.

i'm a fervent fan of his prosa and i read every single word of him he graces us with posting it in this godforsaken hellhole of a forum. it's what keeps me alive and going here. (and sometimes secretly while i'm actually gone forever)

very wise. so have i but only have this one account. i also had one in JC's forum, but he gave me permaban for trying to revive the Soapbox a bit. i must have worded the OP not lame enough for it to not violate forum standards. then got banned. so sad.

Why, thank you. I must admit, my literary voice is that of a wide-eyed, fresh-from-university literature student who is trying desperately to transform the vastly-differing writing stipulations of four different professors into a singular, cohesive style.

Sounds like a recipe for schizophrenia! But you have a lovely style, especially when you're not being haunted by the spectres of canonical literature.
btw, feel free to ignore the rubbish I write. I come here to have fun, not to do serious literary analysis.

pls don't tell anyone. i'm an intern, i need this jerb.
