It is what Taiwan did this time, right away, based on lessons from SARs.
And that measure would potentially include closing the border to your stranded nationals, or putting them in quarantine if you bring them back. -

We closed our borders but not soon enough because we had American tourists wanting to return home to the states. There were crowds of Americans stuck at airport terminals waiting to be screen before they were allowed onto the planes. Back then the US knew very little about the proper way to screen people for infection. We didnt know that you could be still pass along the infection before having any symptoms.

Yeah, and president trump specifically told the media during their the second press conference with president trump and his covid-19 task force…that the intel the white house received from president Xi was inaccurate. President Xi JinPing mislead president trump about novel covid-19. The rest of the details came out later. It revealed an entire cover-up in china and the W.H.O

I guess so! I mean china should be the experts at controlling covid-19 types of respiratory illnesses since it like comes from over there first. And china had all the money the USA had invested into the W.H.O at their disposal.
