The film would be a tad esoteric for regular mainstream tastes. Those that appreciate original and intelligent film-making needn't look any further than EGIB.
Diminutive Blake holds it all together and the support cast is exceptionally solid too.

The vhs contained an extra close up Wintergreen's demise by shotgun
, gory Peckinpah style. It was cut to obtain a PG rating, which was still pushing the boundary. The fate of our tiny hero has always been the same.

On IMDB, it was apparently known as
The Legend Of Big John
upon a reissue. It doesn't mention this title, which is ludicrous. Both are. It does look like an authentic US movie poster.
