I REALLY liked him as the cad/bully in WILD RIVER.
He's great in everything he's in.

Small correction: It was Joe Caswell, not Paul.

The Salmi-Fickett chemistry is top notch in that episode (
            Power Play
), making it difficult to believe that the actors portraying these Middle Western types were born and bred New Yorkers! Fickett actually surprised me more, as I wasn't as familiar with her work. Fine episode all-round, and the Salmi-Fickett playing (for my money) stole it, and from some gifted fellow actors.

I liked him best as the sheriff in "Empire of the Ants" and as a cynical, grouchy homicide detective in "Superstition."

I've never heard of Mr. Salmi unfortunately until last week. I was watching the Twilight Zone episode "Of Late I think of Cliffordville". Albert Salmi really stood out to me and I enjoyed his performance immensely.

My favorite Albert Salmi role, was his portrayal as Charlie Rawlins,in the "Unforgiven". His role was different from his usual tough guy character. He was a sweet, lovable h dope in love with Audrey Hepburn.

It breaks one's heart to know of his career, his wife's tragedy and his suicide. He should have been recognized as a performer of impossible dimension, but was regulated to tv character actor.
