Why are you taking up the side of the assailant?
It is not the substance that matters, dum dum.
It is the intent and who is being attacked.
I believe the laws apply differently to those in public service than you or me since they are the ones that need the protection more so.

Again, the substance doesn't matter.
If you still think your boy is being unfairly charged then write to the DA and others who will have an impact to try and get him out of jail so he can do worse to someone else next time.
