i've seen Joey C-nut in action at Nathan's. the man is a robot in disguise as a person.
if you are a Simpsons fan, a pretty subtle hot dog joke/pun from many many seasons ago: a radio station has a call-in contest, and the when the lucky caller wins, the DJ says " Hot dog, we have a weiner!"
