I’m all for equal rights and believe all religions should be bashed equally
And I’m not sure what news you are watching but 100% Islam gets the most hate and people are definitely not afraid to speak out of their dislike of Muslims. It’s a very popular opinion and one which I don’t agree with as I prefer to judge people by their actions rather than by their faith.
Also I think over here we don’t care as much about religion as you guys do. -

I can't speak for others but over on the Reddit debate religion board I have in the past taken part in long threads disputing with Muslims. The main difficulty is often their claim that 'you need to know Arabic' to interpret the Qu'ran properly - a defence which seems a little too convenient at times. Other than that, the problem on this board is simply the lack of Muslims to debate with. But I don't blame them as much of what is said here is either willfully ill-informed or just plain Islamophobic.
I think you'll find things are a little more complicated than that. -

The fact you need to ask that is worrying. Hatred and bigotry are always to be condemned, sorry about that. The proportion of Muslims who are terrorists is a very small minority.

The Nazi ideology and regime are completely different from Islam. This is not to say of course that there are reprehensible theocracies around based on strict observance of it's tenets.

I would say this but more in day to day life. I don't think many on this board have much life experience of being around Muslims and so are easily swayed by what is in the media. -

Absolutely. Many Americans in particular, sorry to say, are relatively provincial in their notions of the rest of the world and influenced by theocratic forces at home in their views. The result can be sweeping generalisations and condemnations about one of the major religions which at best seem unsophisticated and unlearned and at worst just racist.
