I will admit that I don't always return it, but if the cart narcs caught me, I'd gladly take the L. Honestly, I didn't mind cart duty when I worked at Albertson's got to avoid dealing with customers and get some fresh air.

My local grocery store hires broccoli-haircut, TikTok generation zoomers to go collect the carts. They're douches. One of them calls me "boss" whenever I've spoken with him.
They make me wanna leave the cart on the far end of the parking lot on purpose.

Yeah, but as I said they're douches, especially the "boss" guy.
While leaving the store I saw him and I was like "Hey see ya later" to be friendly and his reply was, "Have a good night, boss."
Ugh.
