While leaving the store I saw him and I was like "Hey see ya later" to be friendly and his reply was, "Have a good night, boss."

I wouldn't go that far lol. It is inconsiderate, not just to the workers (even though I loved wasting company time getting carts ovee dealing with customers), but to other customers and their cars.

Well it’s basically the customer saying “my time is worth more than your inconvenience.” It is literally sociopathic in that it’s a totally selfish act completely devoid of any empathy for your fellow man. Kinda like leaving your untracked weights on the bar at the gym. Special place in hell for those people
