Oh, you were asking what those posters say. I thought you had asked what the film says.

I think if I did do repeat viewings of it I would end up thinking Christina and AZN and Cheeky and Monicah make sense in any of the things that they routinely say.
Yeah, I was curious what he was referring to here.

I simply meant that Grant's acting job was so on the money. I, like the two young Women in the film became so weary and susceptible to his polite insanity and nefarious circumlocution. To the point where upon repeated viewing of this film I would start to unravel like the various aforementioned posters.
Hope this clears it up for you.

I felt his politeness was sinister from the onset. I mean, we already know going in that it is, but I think he intentionally starts displaying it very early…chuckling at her father dying of "blueberries disease" pretending he thought she was making a joke, subtly calling their faith into question or making them answer for holes in their doctrine. His demeanor starts rather soft before it gets harsher and harsher until he is actually cutting them with a knife. He certainly was a great performance by Grant.
As for the posters on here, I'm fully out of the loop. I have no idea about any of their unraveelings 😄.

It's a solid 6/10 movie. Interesting premise and villainous Hugh Grant is always good, but it doesn't really go anywhere - and the ending is daft as a brush.

Bro, Sister Paxton early on said she always wanted to come back as a butterfly when she dies.
When she escaped the Pedo’s house, the scenery changes. Creepy leaking basement to the green vastness of nature. A sunlight sky. A butterfly lands on her arm.
Just who don’t you think that butterfly is?
And was the “resurrection” at just the right time a miracle or just adrenaline?
The film deconstructs religion, but then at the end reinforces why people have faith.

You have redeemed yourself with this post. The ending makes it quite clear what is being implied. That Butterfly isn't just an " Easter Egg"

I agree. I really enjoyed it. Grant's performance was captivating and chilling, and the two girls were very sympathetic. You really do feel and fear for them when things take a turn for the worse.
I'd heard it was going to be a kind of Escape Room vibe; I'm glad to see that was incorrect. It is much more philosophical and intellectual than that.

Oh that was such a good movie! It was way better than I thought it would be. My son had to explain it to me though because I didn't catch on that Mr Reed was a Satanist.

That's the same vibe I got from him. Never anything to suggest Satanist. In a very abstract way through an Abrahamic lens, it could be argued that he is a Satanist, but the film never suggests that itself.

At the beginning he says "I really wish I hadn't found the true religion" (I'm paraphrasing). It's a horror movie so my mind went to satanism. Think it was an intentional mislead.

It's pretty subjective at that point. I think that was intentionally very vague so that the audience would speculate, but I don't think they were necessarily attempting to mislead anyone's ideas. In the end his "true religion" is still atheistic and he is just a psychopath. It is weird though for him to have been so well studied, so much so that he has a library of religious books and in his deepest chambers uses very esoteric imagery like sigils etc, yet he makes mistakes (or maybe there were intentional lies) about the religions he has supposedly studied.

Nothing could or would deter him. His mind was made up. It was others whose minds he was attempting to change. So if he had to lie or tell half truths or in some cases completely omit( The Person in the basement, he would do just that.
