I have a lovely multi colored sweater that was hand knitted by a guy. He made the pattern up, and used left over wool. It is black, with bright blobs of color.
He was 15 when he knitted it. He went through a phase of knitting sweaters for everybody.
Not gay.

Knitting is something that is more of a female dominated skill, whereas in a commercial arena, both men and women would be operating knitting machinery.
It just amuses me, even if only 2yrs ago, that sexuality still gets attributed to certain things if out of the perceived norm.
