Given that her earliest screen credits are from 1997, I doubt she was born in the 60s. 1977 makes a lot more sense. She would have been 20 when she got her first professional gig. That would be 18 years to the end of high school and then two years to move (presumably) to California and look for work. I am pretty sure that I have never heard of an actress who did not start working until she was almost 30.

I am not sure about her age. I have seen it range from 1968 to 1977. I personally think her DOB is 1970 which would go along with her high school graduation date 1988. After Meredith graduated high school she attendded college. It does not say that she graduated or how many years she was there.
Meredith lived in NYC for a time where she was a print model. Notably being on Hardy Boys book covers and some Hair product boxes and several more
Meredith Also did several 30 second ads most notably for Mentos, Ford Explorer, 7up and several others.
So she had a career before she became an actress.
She is a beautiful woman at either 35 or 42.
My disappointment is that her acting career never really took off. I think she is one of the better actresses out there. -

Ellen Albertini Dow was 72 when she started and she turned into a solid B-level (as in fame, not quality of work) tv-actress many are familiar with.

So, it is plausible. Although, I must admit that Meredith always looked younger than her suggested age on IMDb. -

Then you must not be "listening" enough, because there are even actors who didn't start working until after 40 and 50. It's rare, but by no means is it not possible.
It's called finding a different calling, or running into different opportunities after 25. Not everyone takes the conventional road, believe it or not. Maybe you'll even do something unconventional one day. -

And i think its great..Its because of the lifestyle people look younger. I heard Meredith does alot of exercising, she loves beauty and shopping. She is a quite active woman.
Hey, my father is close to 60, but he looks like 43. And one of my uncles is 40 too, but looks like 26.
Alot of actors/actresses can play 10 or 20 years younger, if they look close to the age. Getting older is what everyone is going through, but how they feel like is what truly matters.

Meredith looks great!!!!!!! She's 42 now & looking youthful!!!!! She takes good care of herself by taking care of her body!!!!!! From what I heard she works out by doing yoga, running, & hiking. She also loves shopping & beauty products as well. She's also a great person in general as well!!!!!
