And i think its great..Its because of the lifestyle people look younger. I heard Meredith does alot of exercising, she loves beauty and shopping. She is a quite active woman.
Hey, my father is close to 60, but he looks like 43. And one of my uncles is 40 too, but looks like 26.
Alot of actors/actresses can play 10 or 20 years younger, if they look close to the age. Getting older is what everyone is going through, but how they feel like is what truly matters.

Meredith looks great!!!!!!! She's 42 now & looking youthful!!!!! She takes good care of herself by taking care of her body!!!!!! From what I heard she works out by doing yoga, running, & hiking. She also loves shopping & beauty products as well. She's also a great person in general as well!!!!!

She is 40, and no she does not look 20. Meredith is a very attractive woman. With that said, she has a youthful appearance. She probably could play ab68ny role from early 30's and up, but I think the days of her playing a 20 year old are past her.
What I like about her role as Andie Mcphee, is that she portrayed a 16 year old at 29. For the most part she looked 16, but what was even better, she did a very convincing job acting as a 16 year old. Better than some of her cast mates who were a lot closer to 16 -

What I really admired in DC was that she played Andie as quite young in S2-4 but then when she returned in the series finale (S6), she made her seem much more sophisticated. Of all of the main cast she was the one who was believeable as being much more grown up - even her voice was completely different, much more mature.
I wish she were more recognised for her talent. -

I remember when she was on "dawsons creek" she was 29. I watched her on "criminal MInds' last night and couldn't get over how much she has aged over the last couple of years! She still looks good but you can definitely tell she is much older now.

She's still very child-like in real life. Such a sweetheart and a lot of fun.
As for looking her age, (still lovely might I add), but it's nice to see someone look natural as a lot if these actresses have plastic surgery. God, have you seen how hideous Monica Keener looks now??? -

Bingo - if you look at her neck, you can see her age. That's one area that it's hard to hide.
Some people really, really don't look their ages, especially from a distance. I got mistaken for 22 today. I turned 38 last month.
