I understood the parodyand layered humor and though I love his other work sans the thumb stuff I found this movie to miss the mark. I was really looking forward to this film and I still have hope for the sequel.

I'm English too and I loved the movie although i can see how some people(like yourself)wouldnt like it. It wasn't ment to be the best moive ever or anything like that, it was just i silly little movie he made just for kicks and some people liked it.

Ok, Ok, I was a bit disgusted when I saw the film and posted my original message with venom & a bit of UK sarcasm but honestly & truly didn't find this film funny. Yet I find Airplane1908, Kentucky Fried Movie(which has a spoof of the ultimate Kung Fu movie Enter the Dragon) and Naked Gun hilariously funny but Kung Pow was just. lame!! Anyway here's to more posts!

Every time i make a post about this movie I am bambarded with "You don't understand it" or "tell me why you hate it" when not once have I heard someone describe why they liked this film. Except for people who say it was meant to be a spoof and stupid, well thanks that really makes the movie sound apealing

You must check out my 2nd reply where the guy says 'I have a BA so don't call me disabled' yet his punctuation is wrong and he spells disabled WRONG! There's nothing wrong with bad spelling or punctuation but when you try to prove your brain is working it does matter!!!

Because this movie is Hilarious because I din't understand it at first but then became clear because it seemed like a funny movie when I saw the trailer in the Theaters so anyone like mikesurman is a moron who gets the ideas that whenever he thinks a movie is stupid without watching it or trying to understand it then those people are mentally retarded Bastards the scum of America.

Oh ya.. making people that enjoy a movie, not enjoy it. So basically, you'd like to rain on peoples parades. And if you had your way, you'd Take a piece of enjoyment out of their life, all beit a small piece. I'm sure britian is glad they have you on their team.
Anyway, as I was saying, I was going to take some of your own very lines and simulate why you have yet to make a bit of sense, but quite honestly there's just too many of those examples. So rather then waste my time with where to begin, I'll just announce that nobody really cares what your awful opinion on this film was. I don't need to explain to you why I liked this movie. I did, and that's that. Just like you don't need to jam down my throat your hateful philosophy on what a good spoof is and what a bad spoof is.

You hit the nail there because I wouldn't really care a siht about this movie but it was the fact that some people were calling it a CLASSIC & the funniest film ever made. I think they need to get out more!
I just watched Napoleon Dynamite at my local UCI, this was meant to be stupid & the like but I just pissed myself from beginning to end! And the filming was very very good.. Catch it if you can!
