I’ll just be watching Doctor Who whilst Gavin and Stacy is on.
You see I go to my DenSisters where the TV isn’t on and don’t get back till later on. That’s when I catch up with Who and whatever else I’ve missed.

No it isn’t and people don’t seem to be missing Top of the Pops either.
It’s funny though as I can remember Noel at Christmas delivering his Christmas presents but I don’t think I actually ever sat down and watched him.

Noel was always just something on in the background for me. I don't think I ever sat down to watch it and I hated Mr Blobby. But it had a big following, I thought some people here might pick it out of the bunch

think
that he would
want
to go for Only Fools and Horses, but he won’t because that’s what I went for and he won’t want to choose the same one as me. It’s a tough one…..I think maybe he’ll go for that daytime Enders episode which gave us cosy Christmas Day frolics with the residents of Albert Square before we got to the big drama at night time.

I see that Jim’ll Fix It has two votes. Would it not be possible to launch a similar show that’s not connected to that vile fiend? Perhaps with you and I hosting it. I bet there’s a market for it.

I don't think anyone could touch a show like Jim'll Fix It again Bobby
Someone like Richard Osman or Nick Frost could do something similar but it would have to be completely different

I don't tend to kick around with children Bobby
I've nothing against them, they just take up a lot of time and attention and would be better suited to someone who has either for them
You can do it all by yourself. There would be a bigger budget if there was only one person helping the children

I don’t want to do it on my own, I get anxiety. How about we do the show for adults instead. Adults are like big children anyway and they also would love wishes granted.

Yeah, we could grant adults their wishes and have some fun with that Bobby
It also takes it away from the Savile thing and makes it a whole new show.
We could work with adults with vulnerabilities like the ones you work with in real life

That sounds like a fantastic idea!!
We can fix it for adults with vulnerabilities and also adults who have been through a really tough time of it of late. We can give them something nice to put a spring in their steps.
We start off with a big sob story like ‘my canal boat blew up with everyone who I loved on board’ and then the next bit could be us arranging a fun day out for that person at Alton Towers!

I'd prefer something like "I'm the child of a Rwandan refugee from the winning side of that genocide and I'd really like to meet the new Doctor Who"

We could just do it live in the studio! That would be special without costing an arm and a leg. We could even get some old Dalek prop to come on going ‘exterminate exterminate’ and Shooty can hand the lad his sonic screwdriver and say ‘point it at the Dalek and press this button here’. The Dalek would then explode (very mildly), the audience would cheer and the boy would be well chuffed.
