The deer scene is probably one of the best scenes in any film to me. It was done SO realistically, and the music.incredibly wonderful! The look on Jenny's face made you smile in wonder too.
The diner scene where she talks about Scott is heartbreaking too, agreed. When she says "Its when someone is a part of you.."
And of course when they say good-bye. Tears aplenty.
"I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus."
    "Didn't he discover America?"
    "Penfold, shush."

The deer scene is indeed spectacular and so affecting. The first twitches of life. The way it looks back at Starman. I could cry right now just thinking about it.
The diner scene is another emotional whopper. And yes, the end the
          end
          .
          Sigh.

My favorite part was at the end when Jenny was like "Take me with you." and he was like, "I can't, you'll die." And she was like, "I don't think I would care." and he was like "I would." It's so sad and romantic!

"I mean you no harm. Jennyhaden." Those six words always get to me.

Did you notice that he got that idea from seeing the home movie where Jenny is saying to the raccoon, "I mean you no harm."

That line got him the Oscar nomination.

It has to be the scene when he turns from a baby into man. It blew my mind

I liked that scene, the red light stop, green light go, yellow light go very fast, the opening I cant get no satis faction (was thinking it wasn't that cheezy until the Voyager 2's TV screen opened up lol), and the ending scenes.

That's my favorite too. This movie may be my favorite; at least top five. I really believe Jeff Bridges should have won an Oscar.

the end is probably the best final scene in cinema history as far as i am concerned
the fade to black of karen allens beautiful fresh young face looking up is just a magical shot for me

My favorite scene is when the guy in the black hot rod who gave Jenny the ride to catch up with Starman created the diversion with the fuel can explosion. That is something I would like to do.

I liked it when the starman stated, "You are at your best when things at at their worst." Many, many great scenes.
