So is ghosting an active thing that people do to not think about someone else Bobby?
Seems like a lot of work to me. On the few occasions I've had to say to someone that I don't want to speak to them I've been upfront with them and shared why.
If they can see what I'm talking about then perhaps I've saved them the same thing in the future from someone else and if they don't see what I'm talking about then maybe I'm the dick and it's still best we didn't hang out.
Saves all that potential paranoia and confusion about the situation. To y mind at least

But how do I do it?!!
I’ve tried messaging, ringing, knocking on her door etc. the only option left is to break into her home whilst she’s out and sit there holding a large scotch until she returns…like some kind of scene from Enders!

Just to say that you think it's best for you each to be truly free of each others thoughts and for her to be happy kind of affair
That way she could relax a little and you could move onto someone who actually appreciates you.

Ok well I’ll keep you up to date then. Nigel has had a shave in today’s episode and is looking more like his old self.
Perhaps you could have a shave, send her the pictures (and say things like ‘looky looky here! Smooth and suave. Sexy man!’) and that might make her think of Nigel having a shave and she’ll begin talking about it.

No I'm all about kinetics and scents and tasting while telling and listening to stories Bobby
Dining for me should be all about interaction and participation, preferably with some background music which isn't too distracting or niche for common appreciation
Doesn't matter who I am cooking with, be they experts who can do wonders with my limited tools or happy enough to peel a potato or two. Chat and wine while talking about just about anything make the whole experience from prep to post-dinner bemusement a worthwhile experience
