It would be a slouching, wrinkled raincoat wearing cigar smoking slob who suspects his wife is cheating on him.

Oh OK.
I had never heard of this before.
I prefer it when he just talked about her and we never saw her.
And she doesn't fit the profile of what his wife should look like.
I imagine someone a bit older, even more avg. looking then that and a bit plump.

Strange how they tried to make a spin off instead of just letting it be an only show with just his name, which is how it should have been.
So no surprise to see that Mrs. C failed.
I think the only way it would have worked would have been to have an older, chubby actress play his wife in a small role on the reg. series.
Maybe that could have been accepted by the audience.
