did it used to be one of your favorite movies when you first watched it in a theater as kid? i mean you were so young then like 13 right? so it must have been a great and epic film watching experience right?

so you both realized kiss is basically a poser band right?
KISS are awesome…well, the early stuff they did is awesome. Underneath the makeup and merchandising there are some good rock n roll tunes. I just thought that I grew out of them at a certain age (like, 12 or 13) and I foolishly gave away most of my KISS stuff. Years later I regretted getting rid of my old KISS records.
the karate kid is mostly great for kids but not great for adults really?
I think kids can relate to the film's characters and message more but adults can still enjoy it. -

My first time hearing "Cruel Summer" was in The Karate Kid and whenever I hear that song it takes me back to when I first saw the film at a movie theater in Boston in the summer of '84. Fun times!
Lol. I always scream, "THIS SCHOOL SUCKS, MAN! SUCKS!" during the breakdown

At that point in the movie I was thinking where in the world did they learn to dance like that if Rev Shaw Moore had dancing banned in Bomont for 5 years? Like they let out their hidden talents that had been bottled up.
