Scrooge McDuck: Dagobert Duck ( Dagobert: royal Germanic name)
      Huey - Tick
      Dewey - Trick
      Louie - Track
Launchpad McQuack - Quack der Bruchpilot (There is a 1941 German Nazi propagana movie with German movie star Heinz Rhmann called "Quax, der Bruchpilot." Bruchpilot meaning crash pilot. The movie was a propaganda movie for the German Air Force in WW2, just like Top Gun.)
Duckworth - Johann (German butlers are always called Johann, it is a bit of a cliche.)
Bentina Beakley - Tante Frieda (Tanete = aunt, Frieda, same like Johann, a bit of a cliche for an elderly housekeeper)
      Webby - Nicky
Gyro Gearloose - Daniel Dsentrieb (Dsentrieb means something like jet propulsion, some people I know whose name is Daniel an who are slim and wear the same kind of glasses are always called Daniel Dsentrieb)
Doofus - Doofy (doof meaning stupid)
Gladstone Gander - Gustav Gans (Gans=gander)
Flintheart Glomgold - MacMoneysack (kind of stupid, the German name is actualy English)
      Donald Duck - same
Magica De Spell - Gundel Gaukeley (her last name in German, Gaukeley, comes from the verb vorgaukeln, meaning to feign, to deceive etc., with a magical twist perhaps.)
Black Pete - Kater Karlo (Kater means male cat)He is also called Peter Schimmelpfennig in older translations, but do not make me translate that.
Beagle Boys - Panzerknacker: (vault buster)
      Karlchen
      Schlabber
      Burger
      Kuno
Ma Beagle - Oma Knack (oma means granny)

I love the symmetry between Tick, Trick, and Track.

Here are some names in Swedish.
Scrooge McDuck = Joakim von Anka.
Huey, Dewie and Louie = Knatte, Fnatte and Tjatte.
          Launchpad McQuack = Sigge MackKvack.
Webby Vanderquack = Anki. (A very clever name for her, as "Anki" both is a Swedish nick-name and sounds much like the Swedish word for "duck": "Anka".)
          Mrs Beakly = Fru Matilda.
Gyro Gearloose = Uppfinnar-Jocke ("Uppfinnare" means "inventor".)
Magica de Spell = Magica de Hex. (The name alludes to "hxa", the Swedish word for "witch".)
          Duckworth the butler = Albert.
Flintheart Glamgold = Guld-Ivar Flinthjrta. ("Guld" is the Swedish word for "gold", and "Flinthjrta" is a litteral translation of "Flintheart". "Ivar" is a Swedish man's name.)
The Beagle boys = Bjrnligan. (It litterally means "the bear league", which is rather funny, as they are dogs.)
          Donald Duck = Kalle Anka.
          Daisy Duck = Kajsa Anka.
Gladstone Gander = Alexander Lukas. ("Lukas" is normally the Swedish form of "Luke", but here, it's a last name.)
And I've saved the best to last: Fenton Crackshell is called Fenton Spadrig in Swedish. His surname in Swedish, "Spadrig", just like his original surname, "Crackshell", cleverly alludes to the fact, that he's hmm not normal. Gizmoduck is called Gizmokvack in Swedish. "Kvack" is the Swedish word for "quack". The litteral translation of "Gizmoduck" would have been "Gizmoanka", but "Gizmokvack" sounds much better.
Yes, it's true! IMDB has reached Sweden!

Scrooge McDuck = Joakim von Anka.
As i got older I realised the translation for Scrooge's last name is weird. It's shown in a lot of stories that he is from an old familly in Scotland. Why would his last name have Von in it instead of Mc? Makes no sense 😄
Fun to see all the names in different languages. I see Joakim is used for Scrooge in several countries. Wonder how that started.
Another thing that is weird in the Swedish translations (in the comics at least) is that they always get all the relations between the ducks wrong. Huey, Duey and Louie calls Donald "farbror" (which means father's brother) when really it should be "morbror" (mothers brother). They also call Scrooge farbror even though he's nobody's farbror. He never even had a brother in the stories right?
Anyways not important just something I thought about while reading the translations.

Most stories don't mention Scrooge's Scottish background, do they? And really, the word "von" is used in front of aristocratic names in many countries (including Sweden).
And also, most stories don't mention exactly how Scrooge, Donald and the boys are related to each other. But yes, it really should be "morbror" and "systerson" instead of "farbror" and "brorson". Scrooge does have a brother though, according to some Italian stories. His name is Gideon.
                Intelligence and purity.

No not most stories. But there's a good amount of stories I read where it's mentioned.

wow man, what a question. I haven't seen any Ducktales episodes in a long time, but from what I recall:
Huey, Louey and Dewey: Kwik, Kwek en Kwak (as in the sound ducks make)
                    Scrooge McDuck: Dagobert Duck
Launchpad McQuad: Turbo (as in turbo speed I guess)
                    Webby: Lizzy
                    Gyro Gearloose: Willy Wortel
                    Bubba: remained the same
                    Gizmoduck: remained the same
                    Doofus: Dorus
                    Flintheart Glomgold: Govert Goudglans
Magica De Spell: Zwarte Magica (Black Magica, literally)
ugh, I don't know how these characters are called in English, but I'll explain who they are:
Mevrouw Baktaart: the old woman who works at Scrooge's house.
Van Stoetenwolf: Scrooge's butler and chauffeur. He was some sort of dog I think.
Karel Kraakei: Gizmoduck without his costume, another Scrooge employee
de zware jongens: that family of bandits, all looking very much alike

                            In Mxico:
Scrooge McDuck - Rico McPato (Rich McDuck)
                            Webby - Rosita (Rosie)
                            Huey - Hugo
                            Dewey - Paco (Frank)
                            Louie - Luis (Lewis)
According to my parents, Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse were formerly called "Pato Pascual" and "Ratn Miguelito". Even, in Mxico exists the "Pascual Juice" whose name is based in Dondald Duck.

When they started making the show in 1987, South Africa was boycotted by many other countries, because they still hadn't abolished the apartheid. And because of this, Disney didn't want to acknowledge South Africa, even as the home country of a villain. So they changed Flintheart Glamgold's nationality to Scotish.
By the way, do you have any idea what Fenton Crackshell's name is in Icelandic?

Every character retained its original name except GizmoDuck, who was called "Roboduck" in that country, and the Beagle Boys' mother, who was called "Beagle Mama" instead of "Ma Beagle" as in English.
