If it's an instant salad from the grocery store that already includes them or a takeout salad that includes them, I will eat them.
If I'm making my own salad at home, I normally don't use croutons. I add enough stuff to dress it up that it isn't necessary to add them.

I was re-reading this post, then I remembered that one time I had actually made croutons. But that was a long time ago. Now my curiosity is up, and I will have to try making them again. It surprises me what one can remember, but when someone else brings a certain topic up for discussion. 🤭
